Experimental characterization of an oxygen transfer model of a fine pore diffuser aerator

Dissolved oxygen (DO) is an important aspect of water quality in aquaculture. To prevent deficiency, aeration used to improve DO and increase yields aquaculture farms. However, the experimental quantification standard transfer rate (SOTR) aerators highly case dependent varies under different aerator operational conditions. Hence, using SOTR for modeling, simulation, design purposes tends be unreliable. This work validates existing theoretical model economical fine-pore diffuser a bench-scale system.
